I am a lifelong traveller who caught the travel bug in Israel back in 1997. Since then, I’ve explored Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, India, Bangladesh, Latin America, the Caribbean, and more recently Africa. On worldoftravelling, I share stories, tips, and country guides—plus ways to volunteer and travel smart.

About my website.
worldoftravelling was created to promote and encourage independent worldwide travel. Inside, you’ll find a variety of content, including travel reports, blogs and country profiles. Many of the places I’ve visited also offer excellent volunteering opportunities—a great way to experience a country while helping to fund your travels.
My first independent travel experience was a trip to Israel in 1997. Originally planned as a diving holiday, health issues meant I was unable to dive. Instead, I explored the country extensively by bus, and it was there that I caught the travel bug—a passion that would change the course of my life forever.
In 2001, I took an eight-month sabbatical and travelled extensively around Southeast Asia. Afterwards, I turned my attention to Eastern Europe, India and Bangladesh. Since 2013, I’ve also explored countries across Latin America—both South and Central America—as well as the Caribbean, a fascinating region you can read more about in my blogs. My latest adventures have taken me to East Africa.
