Since then, I\u2019ve explored Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, India, Bangladesh, Latin America, the Caribbean, and more recently Africa. On worldoftravelling, I share stories, tips, and country guides\u2014plus ways to volunteer and travel smart. My goal? To inspire you to pack your bags and see the world for yourself!<\/p>\n<p><strong>About my website:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>worldoftravelling was created to promote and encourage independent worldwide travel. Inside, you\u2019ll find a variety of content, including reports, blogs, and country profiles. Many of the places I\u2019ve visited offer excellent volunteering opportunities\u2014a great way to experience a country while helping fund your trip.<\/p>\n<p>My first independent travel experience was a trip to Israel in 1997. Originally planned as a diving holiday, health issues prevented me from diving. Instead, I explored the country extensively by bus, and it was there that I caught the travel bug\u2014a passion that would change the course of my life forever.<\/p>\n<p>In 2001, I took an eight-month sabbatical and traveled extensively around Southeast Asia. Afterwards, I focused on exploring Eastern Europe, India, and Bangladesh. Since 2013, I\u2019ve been visiting countries across Latin America\u2014both South and Central America\u2014as well as the Caribbean, a fascinating region you can read more about in my blogs.
